Over tiles
SPC is a floating click floor laid over sound, level tiles. BestFloor checks flatness (2 to 3 mm over 2 m, the tolerance it quotes) at the site visit. See our over-tiles guide.
Building rules and approvals
Many towers require a works permit or NOC for flooring. Wasl lists floor tile fixing as needing an NOC with up to 5 working days for residential requests. BestFloor helps with the NOC: NOC guide.
Other noise helpers
- Rugs in living areas
- Felt pads under chairs
- Soft-close doors on wardrobes and cabinets
