Where waterproof floors still fail

What is the best waterproof flooring for Dubai?
For a wood look, waterproof SPC planks; porcelain tile is also waterproof. Laminate is not.
Is SPC really waterproof?
The planks are waterproof. As a floating floor, large leaks can still run underneath at the edges.
Can I mop SPC with water?
Yes, damp mopping is fine. BestFloor's care advice: sweep or vacuum sand, damp mop, felt pads, entrance mat.
Can SPC go in a bathroom?
